Submission Guidelines

Comics generally range from one to five pages. Because one goal of Candy or Medicine is to be accessible to all ages, comics must be appropriate for a general audience.

It is preferred that art submitted to Candy or Medicine has not been previously published, but exceptions can be made. There are no themes to the issues.

Please send artwork as a high-resolution (at least 300 dpi) JPEG, TIFF, PDF or similar file. The comic measures 4.25" X 5.5", so artwork must be proportional to that size.

Production Schedule

Candy or Medicine publishes on a quarterly schedule. Because of the volume of submissions, they will be considered on a first come, first served basis. As long as it meets the guidelines, your comic will be published, it just might take some time.
